I think the BOSS name is awesome. The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is one of the coolest Ford performance cars out there. Given this, I believe Ford should buy/give corporate assistance to Team Shinoda and the Shinoda family. I think that the BOSS "tuning kits" are all-looks that could use some engineering know-how to keep up with the likes of RTR's, Saleen's, and Roush's performance kits and models. Known for both his work on the Corvette and the Mustang, Larry created a track legend in 1969. The BOSS 302 was perfection on four wheels, and drivers like Parnelli Jones knew it. Ford brought it back in 2012. BOSS302Rs can be seen all over American motorsports today, and unrestored 1970 BOSS 302's can go for easily $35k and over.

Despite all of this success, the world needs more BOSS performance models that live up to Larry's legacy. And I believe that Shinoda motorsport should fearlessly embrace their heritage, with or without Ford's assistance.

For example, a new low-end BOSS could be created (Supercharged or track-pack build on for the S550 v6 and/or EcoBoost.) A fully-equipped BOSS 302 and a limited-edition insane BOSS '429' kit or buildup for the S550. With a shaker hood.

Personally, I would find it to be pretty cool to save up/build an S550 that is similar to the RTR-C or the Saleen S302 but sports a V6 instead. What would that be called...?

7.0 v8 = BOSS 429 (Insane, again, insane. Yolo.)

5.0 v8 = Mustang BOSS 302, BOSS 335 (Ford has the parts for this already. Do it again.) This is a national treasure, make it happen again. Or... "BOSS GT" ~ "Shelby GT"

3.7 v6 = Mustang BOSS 227, BOSS 225 ——-> what would supercharging make it? BOSS6, BOSS6R, Mustang BS6, BR6

2.3 14tt = Mustang BOSS140? BOSS4T, BS4, BR4, BOSSe, BOSS4, BOSS turbo, EcoBOSStuh. Seriously, why not ST or SVO? Oh, Ford. Maybe not for the four-banger.

Anyway, one of you get on these renders. Ford-loving Hoons will always need an tough, cheaper track-beast that lies in the middlands between the Coyotes and the GT350s, be it a Cobra R or a Mach 1.

Boss 302, Boss 351, or Boss 429. They they better not use anything other than those names if they do a "Boss." Likely not going to happen though. I'm betting Mach1 is the stablemate to the GT350/500/Cobra/whateveritis.

I actually saw a Boss 429 when I was leaving my neighborhood. I think I peed my pants!

But Ford says the Boss name is done. At least for awhile. It's probably better to not delude a legendary name anyway.
